Once you have received the machine’s registration number from us, you can proceed with customs clearance. After the machinery has cleared customs, you must contact the Administration of Occupational Safety and Health at vinnuveftirlit@ver.is. An inspection specialist will then come to attach the registration plate to the machinery and carry out the inspection. 

It is prohibited to use the machinery before it has been inspected by the Administration.
