When is the license plate put on new work machine?
You should contact the Administration of Occupational Safety and Health at vinnueftirlit@ver.is once the machinery has cleared customs. An inspection specialist will then bring the registration plate, inspect the machine, and affix the plate.
It is prohibited to use the machine before the inspection by the Administration has taken place.
