Applications for Grants of excellence go through a two-stage process. First, the expert panels assess and prioritise the applications. The board then invites representatives of the top-ranked applications for an interview and subsequently makes a decision on awarding the grant. A limited number of grants of excellence are awarded each year.
Who can apply?
Applicants/project managers for a project grant are required to have a minimum of three years of research experience after completing their PhD.
How to apply
Applications are submitted via the Rannís application portal.
Applications must be in English.
