EEA and Norway Grants

Application guidelines

Applications are not submitted through Rannís.

Each beneficiary country develops and manages its own programmes. Namely; organisations in those countries must act as the lead applicants and submit funding applications to the relevant national authorities. In line with the principles of the fund, projects must involve cooperation between countries. Participation from one or more EFTA states (Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein) is therefore required. Costs incurred by EFTA partners are covered in accordance with their role in the project and the cost level in the respective country.

Applications are submitted through the relevant programme operators in each beneficiary country or via the EEA Grants website, where open calls are published.
