A digital disability certificate can be obtained by 2 ways:

On Ísland.is' My pages .
The disability card appears under Licence in the app and My pages
The disability card can only be installed on one phone at a time. If it is installed on another phone, it will be disabled on the device it was on before.
Instructions
For digital certificates, visit my pages on island.is or download the island.is app.
People with an Android phone are advised to download the wallet app Smartwallet for optimal functionality and full support for barcodes and scanning.
With the Ísland.is app:
Start by downloading the wallet app Smartwallet
You download the island.is app on Google Play
Log on to the app with electronic IDs
Select Wallet in the app
Click on the driver's licence
Press Add to Wallet at the bottom of the screen
A certificate is then added to SmartWallet. Further details on island.is/app
On My Pages:
Start by downloading the wallet app Smartwallet
Select Apply (blue button above) and log on to the application with electronic IDs
Select Send to phone
Scan the QR code with your phone camera
Select Download file
Select Allow
Select Add
A certificate is then added to SmartWallet.
