Child's access
Agreement on child's access
Parents may enter into an agreement on access, either verbally or in writing.
Confirmation by the District Commissioner
A confirmation from the District Commissioner may be requested for a contract on access. This ensures that if the parent in custody does not comply with the agreement, the parent who owns the right of access may request that coercive measures be applied.
The District Commissioner may decline to confirm an agreement on access if he or she considers that the agreement is not in the best interests of the child.
Parents who have negotiated a change of residence of a child may not request confirmation from the District Commissioner of an agreement on contact.
If you don't have electronic ID, you can fill out a contract via PDF here.
