Change in participation in operation of a fishing vessel

A change in ownership of a fishing vessel or other change in the operating party of a fishing vessel that holds a commercial fishing license must be reported to the Directorate of Fisheries within 15 days of the contract being signed.

Both the seller and buyer, or the lessor and lessee in case of a lease, must jointly sign the notification of change in the operating party.
