Change in participation in operation of a fishing vessel

A change in ownership of a fishing vessel, or another change in participation in operation of a fishing vessel licensed for commercial fishing, must be reported to the Directorate of Fisheries within 15 days of signing the contract. Both the seller and the buyer, or the rentor and the renter in the case of a lease, must jointly sign a notice of change in participation in operation of a fishing vessel.
