Emergency
You can contact a security guard all day.
Show respect
Show respect to other household members and staff. All threatening and violent behaviour is reported to the police.
Not allowed
Smoking or using electronic cigarettes
Alcohol
Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol
All use of drugs is prohibited in Iceland and will be reported to the police.
Silence and peace
It is quiet time from 10 at night to 8 in the morning.
No photo or recordings
Photographs, videos and audio recordings of household members or staff are not permitted without the person's permission.
Close the door
All doors should always be closed.
Clean and throw out the trash
It is your responsibility to keep your room clean and tidy. Trash should go to the bins that are outside the house.
Penalties
Violation of these rules can result in a warning or a deduction from the food allowance. Repeated violations of the rules of the building mean dismissal from the premises.
