Municipalities and institutions owned by them that are responsible for fire protection or pollution prevention can receive a full refund of VSK on the import or purchase of equipment.

This applies to the purchase of, for example:

  • pump trucks, rescue trucks, water tankers, rescue vehicles such as personnel transport vehicles and ladder and crane trucks.

  • fire pumps, smoke ejectors, generators, hoses, flexible suction pipes, equipment, and other related gear.

  • cutters, spreaders, hydraulic rams, pumps and other specialized rescue equipment used for extricating trapped individuals from structures and vehicles.

  • protective outer clothing for firefighting and pollution incidents, as well as smoke diving equipment (also known as Self-contained-breathing apparatus) and related equipment.

  • equipment used because of pollution incidents, and telecommunications gear for fire services, including pagers, radios, and mobile phones.

Conditions and Supporting Documents

The seller of the goods or services must have been registered on the VSK registry when the transaction took place.

  • Application in two copies

  • Original invoices along with a clear copy. The invoices must be made out to the applicant, and VSK must be specified separately.
