Vehicle history

You can access your vehicle history free of charge by logging into Ísland.is under Vehicle history. There you can view information about your own vehicles.

Please note that you can only view the vehicle history associated with your own personal ID number. It is not possible to view the vehicle history of other individuals.

Your vehicle history includes information such as:

• vehicles that have been registered to your personal ID number as the primary owner, co-owner or registered keeper,

• the date a vehicle was first registered

• the date you purchased the vehicle

• the date you sold the vehicle

• other related registration information

Cost

Vehicle history is available free of charge through Ísland.is. A copy of your vehicle history is also available from the Icelandic Transport Authority and costs 1.228 ISK
