Cabin Crew Attestation
The training of flight attendants and cabin crew members shall be divided into:
initial training
conversion and differences training
Initial safety training course:
Held by airline operators or licensed flight schools.
Most airlines conduct their own initial safety training.
Courses do not confer any qualifications, but graduates are confirmed as having completed the initial training.
The completion of an initial safety training course is not sufficient for the initial qualification to be able to operate as a cabin crew member. For this purpose, conversion training must also be completed.
Conversion training:
Held by the airline.
The airline may send a student directly to conversion training, if the student has already completed the initial training course at a flying school or another airline.
Rules and regulations
Initial cabin crew training is the subject of the Regulation on Civil Aviation Crew no. 180/2014 .
Conversion training is the subject of a Regulation on technical requirements and administrative rules for aircraft operations no. 237/2014.
