The Nordic Nutrition Recommendations 2023 (NNR6) are launched in Iceland today. This is the most extensive update to the recommendations since they were first published 40 years ago. The project is co-funded by the European Union with a total budget of 95.5 million EUR, representing 20% of the EU's total health budget. This groundbreaking project brings together 25 nations in a collaborative effort to address the growing burden of NCDs across borders.

The purpose of the program is to support landowners aiming to revegetate their land, halt erosion, restore ecosystems and help landowners promote sustainable land use according to applied guidelines and criteria.
