Staff of the National Hearing and Speech Institute of Iceland (HTÍ) were welcomed to Heilsugæsla höfuðborgar-svæðisins (HH) at a meeting with the center’s employees today. The operations will formally transfer to HH on May 1.

UK–Iceland Explorer scholarships were awarded on 22 June at a formal ceremony held at the British Ambassador’s Residence. The Landspítali University Research Fund has allocated grants to researchers at Landspítali University Hospital. The allocation took place at the spring meetings of the Scientific Committee on 23 April, but the beneficiaries were informed of the proposed grant granting electronically some time before.
