Yesterday, the Minister of Health, Alma Möller, visited the Healthcare Institution of North Iceland (HSN) with Eydís Ásbjörnsdóttir, MP for the Northeast Region, and Jón Magnús Kristjánsson, assistant to the Minister of Health.

Magdalena Ásgeirsdóttir, pulmonologist, will begin work at Akureyri Hospital in February in a 30% position.

Skúli Magnússon was appointed as a judge at the Supreme Court of Iceland on 1 October 2024 and began at the court on that date.

This year’s theme is Healthy Aging. The focus is on improving the functional ability of older adults and reducing the risk of falls through better balance and increased strength.

The Minister of Justice visited the Supreme Court on 4 April, where he was briefed on the operation of the court.
