A specialist on prevention of sexually transmitted diseases visits the Directorate of Health

A ceremony to award grants from the Public Health Fund was held on Thursday, 26 March, at the Directorate of Health's premises.

Yesterday, the Minister of Health, Alma Möller, visited the Healthcare Institution of North Iceland (HSN) with Eydís Ásbjörnsdóttir, MP for the Northeast Region, and Jón Magnús Kristjánsson, assistant to the Minister of Health.

The Healthcare Institution of North Iceland (HSN) has signed new agreements for laundry services with three providers, effective from September 1, 2025.

On May 1st, the Healthcare Institution of North Iceland (HSN) took over the operation of the Sæborg nursing home in Skagaströnd. Around 25 employees work at Sæborg under the leadership of Eydís Inga Sigurjónsdóttir, department manager.
