A new advisory council on palliative care has been appointed for a three-year term through a collaboration between the Sjúkrahúsið á Akureyri (SAk), Heilbrigðisstofnun Norðurlands (HSN) and Heilsuvernd (HV). The council’s objective is to strengthen cooperation between healthcare institutions and further develop palliative care services in North Iceland.
