Renewal of Framework Agreement with Independent Consultants
Digital Iceland's framework agreement with independent consultants has been renewed.
In December 2024, Digital Iceland entered into a framework agreement with 26 consultants to provide specialised consultancy and project management services across information technology (IT), digital transformation projects, technical development, security, data architecture, and technical operations.
The framework agreement has proven effective, but its scope proved smaller than originally planned. Projects delivered under the agreement include:
Analysis of employment-related life events for Ísland.is
Public procurement for a web content management system
Analysis of the Ísland.is authentication system
Consultancy for Straumurinn
Expansion of the Ísland.is authorisation system
Web analytics solutions
Implementation of the Ísland.is service system
Data protection impact assessment
The agreement has now been extended for an additional year, through December 2026.
