The Data Protection Authority has decided that in 2025 the following areas of policy will be emphasized in the Authority’s activities.
The President of the Icelandic Parliament, Birgir Ármannsson, invited to a reception on 31 March to mark the publication of the second edition of the Supreme Court of Iceland.
High satisfaction is reported with services at health centers in the capital area in the latest survey by Sjúkratrygginar Íslands (Health Iceland). Satisfaction with both the services provided and staff attitudes is particularly high, with little difference between centers operated by Heilsugæsla höfuðborgarsvæðisin (HH) and those run by private providers.
The Icelandic Planning Agency confirmed, on 9 July 2024, the amendment to the Municipal Plan 2020-2036, which was approved by the town council on 14 December 2023.

Events where flooding from the ocean suddenly reaches land and causes damage or destruction to insured property are considered natural disasters that NTÍ insures against, and therefore the damage that occurred in the weekend's sea floods will be examined and assessed by NTI and a decision will be made regarding liability for compensation.
Holiday and December supplements for disability pension, partial disability pension and medical- and rehabilitation allowance have been calculated and the payment plans for individuals entitled to these payments have been updated on My Pages. The holiday supplements will be paid on 1 July and the December supplement on 1 December.
