The Directorate of Fisheries has granted Landsvirkjun, for its part, license for expansion of Sigölduvirkjun.

One of the initiatives undertaken by Land and Forest Iceland involves assessing the results of land reclamation efforts carried out by farmers engaged in quality-controlled sheep production.
