The theme this year is Change Management with a special focus on the implementation of digital services and processes in public sector organisations. The conference's keynote speakers are Dave Rogers and Liz Whitfield who have all been involved and successful in a wide range of major digital transformation projects in the UK administration.

Pre-registration and further information on the conference can be found on Digital Iceland's website.

Five agencies will share their stories about their digital journeys and Digital Iceland will present the innovations that lie ahead. The day will end with the Digital Steps for Institutions awards, where the institutions that have made good progress in digital implementation are recognised.

On the morning of the conference, four workshops will be held on service, technology & development, Ísland.is and the benefits of digital projects. The goal of the workshops is to make a meaningful contribution to the digital development that lies ahead for the next few years. Participants in the workshops will be CEOs, COOs, CTOs, and service managers from within the government. The workshops will be invite only but you can request entry and information about the workshops by emailing to island@island.is with the subject Connecting the State Workshops.

Digital Iceland is part of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs and has the role of supporting the digital journey of public sector entities. Digital Iceland hosts the conference.
