Land and Forest Iceland is calling for applications from non-governmental organisations for afforestation support in the name of Vorviður. The support is intended for forestry by general associations and organisations, not companies or institutions, and in the form of forest seedlings only. The deadline for applications is 12 April.

On 1 June 2023, the Quality and Supervisory Agency of Welfare published a report following the report of a serious incident at the summer camp in Reykjadalur. The follow-up of GEV on the work process of the summer camp has now been completed.
