The East Iceland Healthcare Authority has moved its website to Iceland.is. With the changes it is hoped that the people of East Iceland will have better access to information regarding the services of the institution.

The aim of the project is to build a system, the Icelandic webservices, that provides information on government data and web services to users.

The annual Icelandic Forestry Conference will be held in Hof, Akureyri, 20-21 March under the title Forest Resources - Infrastructure and Planning. About 140 people are registered to the event.
