Webservices and API Design Guide - Project history
The aim of the project is to build a system, the Icelandic webservices, that provides information on government data and web services to users.
About the project:
Without a sense of urgency, you read listed services on X-Road and retrieve descriptions of them and display them in an interface in a user-friendly manner. Webservices list then provides easy access to open data web services through the portal (API Gateway). For this to work, a clear API Design Guide with instructions for web services is required. The API Design Guide will be published in the web interface of the Icelandic webservices.
Challenge:
The biggest challenge for the project is the connection to X-Road. That documents and data on web services are in a homogeneous form so that automated reading will be anointed and provided with the summary in the webservices list.
