Residence permit for possible victims of human trafficking
Perpetrators of human trafficking
Victims of trafficking often see their situation as a result of their own actions and bad decisions and even feel obligated to those who exploit them. It is essential that the victim realizes that they are a victim of a crime and are not responsible for their situation.
The perpetrator or trafficker can be anyone, even your spouse, another family member, your boss or someone who acts like your friend.
A person you think has helped you out of a bad situation can actually be abusing you. You can even feel you are in debt to the person and therefore the perpetrator manages to keep you in the situation.
All involvement in trafficking is prohibited, both the employment, transport, provision of accommodation and reception of the person concerned.
