Notification of Residence in Iceland

As part of your residence permit in Iceland, your legal domicile will be registered in Iceland with Registers Iceland.

If you don't register an address during the application process, then you must notify Registers Iceland of your residence in Iceland using this form before any residence permit will be issued.

Note:
Although your legal domicile is registered with Registers Iceland, this form should be submitted at the Directorate of Immigration, Dalvegur 18, 201 Kópavogur, or by email: skraning@utl.is

The form can also be submitted at the District Commissioner‘s office outside the Capital area, when going there to be photographed for a residence permit card.
