If you know who or who was at fault or have any suspects, you should book a time to press charges.

In general

The police encourage individuals to report websites or groups on social media where violent videos of young people are being posted.

You can inform the police by:

  • reporting online

  • go to the police

  • call the police

Information needed

A notification must be accompanied by information about:

  • the notifier such as name, national identification number and contact information

  • the content, such as location on the internet, URL to the video or image

  • the video, as well as where it was recorded and when if known

  • who is on the video if known

  • whether police were called

  • any other information that is useful

The notifier may authorize the police to contact to obtain further information.

You can request that your name is not included
