Criminal record

The criminal record contains conclusions in criminal cases. The public does not have access to the criminal record, but when applying for a criminal record certificate information from it is used.

Criminal record cerificate to individuals

This shows how long the results of criminal cases appear on certificates to individuals.

Provision of probation

When individuals are required to produce a certicate, they can apply for it electronically from the district commissioner.

Certificate to the authorities

Certain public entities may apply directly to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions to request a certificate of indictment concerning natural and legal persons, if they have a legitimate interest in such information.
