Payment participation for purchase of glasses or lenses

The amount depends on the type of glass and the strength.

The maximum repayments on a three-year basis are as follows:

Strength

• 0,25 to 4 is 5000 ISK per glass

• 4,25 to 6 is 7500 ISK per glass

• more than 6 is 10,000 ISK per glass

Double or multi-stage glass

• 0 to 4 is 13,000 ISK per glass

• more than 4,25 is 25,000 ISK per glass

Strong contrast glasses

• Cylinder -2,25 or more, which is an additional 750 ISK per glass

Prismagler

• 2000 ISK for each glass

Hard lenses

• 7000 ISK per piece

A person can choose contact lenses or glasses. If lens is chosen, receipts may be collected over the period until the maximum is reached.
