Grindavík's service team was established 1. june with the intent of supporting the well being of the people and providing them services. You can request a consultation with the team by requesting an appointment below or calling 5450200 between 10:30 to 12:00 every monday to thursday. The service team consists of specialists that work in a multidisciplinary approach and have extensive knowledge and experience. The specialists are psychologists, social workers, public health scientist and school affairs specialist.

The service team can provide:

• Counselling for school affairs for children and young people

• Support and counselling for job search or job loss

• Access to appointments with psychologists and group resources for children and adults

• Counselling and support for housing

• Counselling for other social issues

The service team can also assist in communication with local authorities where Grindvíkingar have relocated, if requested.
