Due to a volcanic eruption and necessary emergency and investigative flights, the Icelandic Transport Authority has, at the request of the Civil Protection Coordination Centre, prohibited drone flights above 60 meters above ground, in an area within 2 nautical miles around the eruption.
The ban is valid until midnight 28 August 2024.
