Registration is now open for the Traffic Conference (Umferðarþing), which will be held on September 22 at Gamla Bíó. The theme of this year's conference is “Young People and Traffic.”The conference will focus on the situation, experiences, and attitudes of young people in traffic, as well as the challenges and opportunities involved in promoting greater road safety and their responsible participation in transportation.Experts from a variety of fields will share their knowledge and experience. We will also have the opportunity to hear directly from young people themselves and gain insight into how they perceive their traffic environment and which considerations they believe are important for fostering safer traffic conditions.The Icelandic Transport Authority’s Traffic Conference serves as a forum for professional dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of views on issues relating to road safety and transportation. The conference is intended for everyone interested in safe and responsible participation in traffic and who wishes to contribute to positive developments in road safety.
