For safety reasons, the commissioner of police in Northeast Iceland has decided to prohibit the flight of drones over the festival area of "Fiskidagurinn mikli" in Dalvík, from 08:00 on Saturday 12 August to 08:00 on Sunday 13 August.

The restricted area is well covered. The ban does not apply to police drones or other drones for which a special license from the Chief of Police has been obtained.
