The evaluation confirms that the defined Visual Segment Surfaces (VSS) are now free of obstacles and by the prescribed mitigation measures.

The Icelandic Transport Authority has reviewed the documentation and evaluated the findings.

Based on this, the Authority has decided to revoke the directive restricting the use of runway 13/31 at Reykjavík Airport for safety reasons. The directive had been in effect since 8 February 2025.
