The Icelandic Transport Authority’s Christmas Calendar begins next Sunday (1 Dec). There are 24 fun stories about Santa Claus and their adventures, including traffic. In the stories, we not only hear about the 13 Santas, but also get to know other less well-known Icelandic Santas.

You can read or listen to the stories, answer a simple question and submit your answer. Two answers are drawn out daily until Christmas and they receive a lucky reflective backpack. In January, one lucky elementary school class is drawn out and they receive pizza party and board games.

We encourage people to read the stories or listen to them, let the children answer their questions and maybe have a little discussion about the story’s content.
