The area in Akureyri is the festival area of the Ein með öllu festival by Akureyri Sports Field. It is marked in green on the pictured map.

The area in Siglufjörður is the festival area of the Síldarævintýrið á Siglufirði festival and is marked in yellow on the pictured map.

All drone flights are prohibited in the area during this period, except with special permission from the Chief of Police of Northeast Iceland.

The drone ban is established on the basis of Article 3(d) of Regulation 1360/2024.
