The next A2 certification drone exam will be held on the 4th of March, at 10:00 at Flugröst, Nauthólsvegur 99, 102 Reykjavík.

Registration is open at prof.icetra.is and the registration deadline is the 22nd of February. The exam fee is 7.462 ISK, payable upon registration.

Important information

• To obtain A2 certification, you must first have completed the A1/A3 competency exam.

• To prepare for the A2 exam, it is recommended to review the study material available on flydrone.is.

• Practical training for A2 must be completed before the certification can be registered on your certificate. This training can be conducted independently by following the guidelines on flydrone.is.

• It is recommended to log into the flydrone.is in advance to ensure that your account is working smoothly.

• Please note that A2 certification is only required if you intend to fly a C2-labeled drone in the A2 subcategory, i.e., near people in urban areas.
