Advanced course in Icelandic Sign Language for Deaf Immigrants

The Directorate of Labour offers deaf immigrants an advanced course in Icelandic sign language.

The course is intended for those who have some basic knowledge of Icelandic Sign Language. The course will be taught once a week, on Tuesdays, for 3 hours at a time, from 17:00 - 20:00, and there will also be classes on several Saturdays; 13th Sept, 4th Oct, 25th Oct, 15th Nov, and 6th Dec. On Saturdays, the course will be taught from 10:00 - 13:00. The course begins on Tuesday 9th September and ends on Tuesday 9th December. The course is in total 57 hours.

Classes will be held at the Communication Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Laugavegur 166, 4th floor.
