The books were then sold in December alongside works by students from other schools. The students decided that the proceeds from the sale of their books, amounting to just over ISK 300,000, would be donated to the pediatric ward at Sjúkrahúsið á Akureyri. In addition, the students wanted to donate one copy of each book to the ward, hoping that patients would enjoy reading them.

Gestur Guðrúnarson, Service Manager at SAk, visited the students and accepted this wonderful gift on behalf of the pediatric ward at SAk:
