Rannveig holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from Reykjavík University (HR) and has worked at the institution for over 20 years, gaining extensive experience in the field of finance. She has experience as an accountant, and in her role as Head of the Finance Office, she has acquired valuable knowledge and understanding of the hospital’s operations, making her well qualified to lead its continued development. Since December 2024, she has served as Acting CFO, gaining significant experience in financial management and strategic planning within the institution.
