Christine was born in the Netherlands but has lived in several countries. She completed her medical studies and then graduated from a five-year specialty programme in X-ray medicine, specialising in neurology, head and neck regions and lung imaging.

Christine first came to Iceland in 2022 when she travelled on Laugavegur and was fascinated by the country and people. She is excited to start working and is looking forward to participating in a variety of outdoor activities such as backcountry skiing, hiking and running, as well as meeting new people. Christine has already started learning Icelandic and welcomes advice on good hiking routes and fun outdoor activities.
