In the picture you can see the group that installed the system the SAk.

The new water purification system replaces 4 smaller water purification devices that were for one machine each before. Condition and daily treatments can also be monitored from Fresenius Medical Care headquarters, which simplifies all monitoring and occasional repairs.

"The AquaBPlus system is a complete revolution for us. Installation started at the beginning of last week and as early as Thursday we were able to start using it. Previously, the noise from each device was 46db (A) at a distance of one meter, and there were four such devices running at any time. We can therefore honestly say that this is a revolution," says Sólveig Tryggvadóttir, nurse at SAk's hemodialysis.

The AquaBPlus water purification system for hemodialysis for max 6 dialysis machines is inside a separate room. The cost of the new system and its installation is ISK 18,500,000. which is paid by LSH, as hemodialysis SAk is an outpost from LSH's dialysis unit.
