The Department of Education and Science received 36 students in the Student and Career Selection program at the Menntaskólinn á Akureyri (High School of Akureyri) on Wednesday last week.

The students were very enthusiastic and received a wide introduction to the jobs within SAk:

• Nursing

• Internal Medicine

• Nursing assistants

• Psychology

• Midwifery

• Biomedical science

• Radiology

“It is our hope that this presentation will help students to choose their future university education and that we can even involve them at SAk in the future,” says the head of the education at SAk, Hugrún Hjörleifsdóttir, who supervised the visit.
