Corina and Chris are well acquainted with the Akureri Hospital as they have worked here for the last few years, Corina since 2018 and Chris since 2015. They will work as a team and provide leadership to anesthesia and intensive care medicine in cooperation with the head of the intensive care unit and the head of the anesthesiology department as well as other staff.

During the first weeks of their work, Corina and Chris will take over from Oddi Ólafsson, the outgoing chief physician, who will continue to work at the department.
