“The walkers are extremely useful for patients, and many understandably need to use them after surgery. This donation will certainly be of great benefit, and we are grateful to the Friends for their support,” says Bryndís María Davíðsdóttir, Head of the Surgical Department.

It is also worth noting that a new patient lounge has recently been opened in the surgical department. “It is very valuable to be able to offer patients a space where they can sit with their relatives or use as they see fit when they wish to spend time outside patient rooms,” says Bryndís María Davíðsdóttir, Head of the Surgical Department.
