Following this, further sampling has been carried out to assess the extent of the issue. We are gradually receiving additional results, but it appears that the problem is most significant on the ground floors.

One floor has been closed as a result, and services have been relocated. At this stage, no decision has been made to proceed with further closures or to reduce services due to the situation. However, staff have had to demonstrate considerable resourcefulness to maintain services at Kristnes, and for that they deserve recognition.

Work is being carried out as quickly and safely as possible to obtain a comprehensive overview of the condition of the facilities, which is a prerequisite for making decisions on the necessary measures. During this period of uncertainty, the primary focus is on ensuring the safety of patients and staff, as well as maintaining operations within the facilities to the extent possible.
