Sjúkrahúsið á Akureyri (SAk) is currently experiencing significant strain due to a high number of patient visits and admissions related to influenza and other viral infections. Isolation capacity has reached its limits. SAk therefore wishes to convey the following message: If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection (influenza or other viral illnesses), please postpone your visit. If it is necessary to come, wear a mask and clean your hands before and after the visit.
