Grants from the SAk Science Fund are awarded once a year. The Science Fund supports research projects only, not quality improvement or educational projects. The SAk Science Council oversees the evaluation process of eligible applications on behalf of the Science Fund. A total of ISK 8,812,696 was allocated.

Hannes Petersen:
Prevalence of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA) among 4–9-year-old children in the general population.
Laufey Hrólfsdóttir:
Association between gestational weight gain and children's later health.
Alexander Kr. Smárason:
Use of psychotropic medication during pregnancy in the HSN catchment area, 2020–2022
Þórhalla Sigurðardóttir:
Exploring transformative learning and authenticity in simulation-based learning for nursing students.
