Steady increase in cancer drug administration services

  • The number of stays in January and February was 4,454, compared to nearly 5,100 days spent in the same period last year, so activity has decreased slightly. On average 4.8 days in a ward.

  • Most of the patients are admitted to an emergency wards, they account for about 75% of the total admissions.

  • Internal medicine ward has almost 100% occupancy, the surgical ward has over 80% occupancy, which is less than last year. The same applies to the psychiatric ward.

  • The number of beds in the children’s ward has been 8 so far but has been redefined and now the number of beds is 6 (including 2 beds in the day ward) and 2 beds in the day ward, so the actual use of beds can be seen more clearly.

  • Over 3,600 people have received services in the outpatient ward, 407 of whom have received cancer medication, compared to 378 medications during the same period last year, and there is a continuous increase in these services.

  • In the emergency room and outpatient ward, the number of communication is 2,972 compared to 2,759 in the same period last year, making the year-over-year increase nearly 8%. Waiting time for a doctor in the emergency room is now about 41 minutes, which is close to our benchmark of 40 minutes waiting for a doctor.

  • The number of surgeries in the first two months of the year was 475, which is more than in the year before, when it was impossible to operate fully due to stress and lack of staff, and access to specialists has an impact on the number of surgeries. Approximately 26,5%

    of surgeries were emergency operations and 64 were artificial joint operations, which is comparable to last year.

  • The number of medical imaging (without mammograms) was approximately 6,740, making an average of 112 examination studies per day, which is comparable to the number of studies that have been performed. Clinical laboratory and physiology department have shown little reduction.

  • The birth rate increased during the period, with 68 babies born this year compared to 53 babies born at the same time last year.

  • The year begins with the same pattern as last year regarding arrivals and admissions of non-insured persons.
