Civil protection and emergency management operates the civil protection department and a coordination centre.
Civil Protection Department
The National Commissioner handles civil protection issues on behalf of the Minister of Justice, who is the highest authority on civil protection in the country.
The Civil Protection Department coordinates and monitors civil protection issues at the national level and international cooperation.
Coordination centre
The crew of the Coordination Center includes representatives of Civil Protection response agencies. Management of operations in a civil protection situation is in the hands of the police chief in the relevant police district.
