Lost and found items with the police

Have you lost something or found something that doesn’t belong to you?

• Lost items: Contact the police in the area where the items were lost to see if they have returned.

• Found items: Found items are in the custody of the police. Return them to the nearest police station.

The police will post photos of found items on Pinterest. Check if your items are there:

• The capital area

• South of Iceland
